And till this day, I still ask myself why I didn't get the chance to say goodbye and to this day, I still ask myself why didn’t i get the chance to say goodbye, all i can think about is the smile on your face when u walk through the door. where did all that time go?

i am still marking the days till you come home. minutes turn into hours and hours turn into days, since i’ve felt your warmth as we laugh till our stomachs hurt. i’m still waiting for you to sing me my favourite song as we dance the night away. why don’t you read me my bedtime story anymore? why haven’t you called out my name? you still owe me that kiss on my cheek even as I sleep soundly.

its been 3 years and it still feels like yesterday that you left to a better place. but how i wish to see your smile again. wait for me okay? I’ll see you again soon.
